14. Philadelphia 76ers (via Golden State) – Moses Moody, F, Arkansas

With the second of their lottery picks that they received in the trade of Simmons, the Sixers take a chance on Moses Moody. Even though there are many that don’t exactly believe in the long-term ceiling of Moody, he transitions as a ready-to-play 3-and-D option for the Sixers.

More than anything, that’s exactly what the Sixers are going to need heading into next season – especially if they don’t get the all-star in return for Simmons in any potential deal. Moody isn’t likely a player that will start for Philadelphia right away, but he has the potential to be a really good player down the line.

Again, this would be all moot if the Sixers elect to trade these picks but there are solid options out there if they elect to stand pat.
