NBA Mock Draft 8.0: Warriors trade for Ben Simmons; Jalen Green rises to No. 1
21. New York Knicks – Jaden Springer, G, Tenessee
After adding a big, it would be smart for the Knicks to take a chance on a backcourt player with their second first-round pick. Jaden Springer could be a prospect that the team takes a chance on late in the first round.
Springer has an interesting skill set that could blossom over the next few years. He’ll need a strong support group and some time to goom himself, but assuming that the Knicks are still taking baby steps in their rebuild, they could be a good landing spot.
22. Los Angeles Lakers – Jared Butler, G, Baylor
The Los Angeles Lakers, after an embarrassing end to their championship defense, will be looking to rebound in a big way this upcoming season. Jared Butler would be a solid addition to their championship roster as he could provide some leadership and maturity to this team’s supporting cast.
