2. Houston Rockets – Cade Cunningham, G/F, Oklahoma State

With the No. 2 pick, the Houston Rockets get. the player that they want in Cade Cunningham after the Pistons pass on him. Cunnigham seems to be the entire package. He’s a big, lanky guard that has the ability to be a great two-way player at the next level.

Cunningham will likely translate as a point guard in the NBA but has the size to play all over the floor. He is a great playmaker, has an offensive explosion, and doesn’t have many, if any, holes in his game.

Cunnigham is a good starting piece for a franchise that is in desperate need of a new face of the franchise after they were forced to trade James Harden away this past season. This is a win-win for the Rockets.
