NBA Mock Draft 8.0: Warriors trade for Ben Simmons; Jalen Green rises to No. 1
6. Oklahoma City Thunder – Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee
The Oklahoma City Thunder are another team that will have the ability to be creative with their assets at the NBA Draft if they so choose to, especially after acquiring Kemba Walker from the Boston Celtics a few weeks ago.
Although assuming that they keep and make a selection, one prospect that would make sense for the Thunder is Keon Johnson. He’s one of the more athletic players in this draft and would be a good partner to place next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Even if the Thunder elects to keep Kemba, Johnson is a player that could learn from him until he’s ready to take a bigger role for the franchise in the future. You have to love Johnson’s potential and he’d be a great next building block for this roster.
