7. Philadelphia 76ers (via Golden State) – James Bouknight, G, UCONN

In full detail, the move for the No. 7, No. 14, a future first-round pick, and Andrew Wiggins was just too much for the Philadelphia 76ers to bypass at the draft. With the assets, the Sixers would have plenty of flexibility on draft night.

Not only could the Sixers make selections with the picks, but they could also elect to package them together and try to make a play for Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal. If nothing materializes, the Sixers could just make picks to add depth to the roster.

The Sixers would be getting a good return on Simmons and would still be a contender in the Eastern Conference, as long as they do well with the assets that they receive. It would be a win-win for both teams.
