Miami Heat: 3 free agents that should be top targets this offseason

Miami Heat free-agent targets: Lonzo Ball

As much as he has been piled on through the first few years of his career – first with the Los Angeles Lakers and then with the New Orleans Pelicans – Lonzo Ball is coming off a good season that should/could catapult him at his next stop.

If he can continue to hit the 3-point ball at a consistent clip – he’s shot 38 percent from deep in each of his last two seasons – he will be able to continue to grow into a potential star. He’s a good defender, a good playmaker, and would help take some of the ball-handling pressure off of Jimmy and Bam.

Assuming he would be a fit personality-wise in Miami, there’s a chance that the Heat is the organization that can get the most out of Ball.
