NBA Draft predictions: Russell Westbrook will be traded

The first domino of the offseason will fall in which we will see a big-name be traded. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s Russell Westbrook. This will be quite intriguing considering that it could be a domino effect that could make way for even more moves.

Specifically, it could be the one that finally pushes Bradley Beal over the edge to demand a trade – don’t bet on it, but it’s at least a possibility. I’m not sure where exactly Westbrook will be traded – he’s recently been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, so they’re at least a team to watch.

Westbrook had a fine season with the Washington Wizards last season but doesn’t appear to be the best fit next to Beal. He’s still one of the most overwhelming offensive point guards in the league and could still help a team if he finds the right fit.
