NBA Draft predictions: Evan Mobley will be selected No. 2 overall

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a growing sense that the top two picks in the NBA Draft will end up being Cade Cunningham followed by Jalen Green. However, I have a feeling that the Houston Rockets will ultimately fall back to Evan Mobley once push comes to shove.

Mobley has generational potential and, as good as an offensive weapon that Green can be once fully developed, I believe that the Rockets are going to take a chance on the player that has the ability to develop into a generational superstar.

Mobley has great size, is supremely athletic, and has the tools to be one of the best two-way players in the league. The superstar potential is something that can’t be overlooked and he should be the No. 2 overall pick in this draft, at least.
