NBA Draft predictions: The Golden State Warriors will trade both their lottery picks

This is not exactly a surprising revelation, but I’d be extremely shocked if the Golden State Warriors didn’t trade at least one, if not both, of their lottery picks ahead of the NBA Draft. The Warriors are set up to win now and I’m not sure how two rookies will have a big enough of an impact to warrant not making an upgrade to the roster via trade.

The hope is that Klay Thompson will be healthy next season and Stephen Curry isn’t getting any younger. If the franchise wants to win one more championship with this current core, they’re going to have to exhaust all avenues toward improving this roster now.

Unfortunately, that likely means trading their two lottery picks for a player – or players – that could help them win this season. The problem is, I’m not sure if there’s a player on the trade block at the moment worth two lottery picks.

It’s a tough spot for the Warriors.
