NBA Draft prediction: The New York Knicks will trade up for a guard

Equipped with the No. 19 and 21 overall picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, I have a feeling that the New York Knicks are going to do everything that they can to try and move up into the lottery (possibly into the top 10) in an attempt to draft a guard.

A few names that the Knicks could potentially target towards the latter part of the top 10 and into the lottery are James Bouknight, Tre Mann, Davion Mitchell, or Chris Duarte. New York has had a need in the backcourt for years and could try to invest in the position.

If the Knicks could find their long-term answer at the guard position in this draft, it could make their plans heading into the free agency period that much easier.
