NBA Draft predictions: The Toronto Raptors will trade their draft pick

Heading into the 2021 NBA Draft, the Toronto Raptors have the fourth overall pick. However, I don’t believe that they’ll keep whoever they select with this pick. I believe that the team will do one of two things.

The Raptors will either trade the No. 4 pick for additional picks in this year’s draft or they’ll move the pick in an attempt to build a new core in Toronto. That could either be for a Ben Simmons type or another player that is currently on the trade market (and perhaps we don’t know of yet).

Masai Ujiri is one of the best at team-building in the league and he almost never plays it by the book. I have a hard time believe that the Raptors are simply going to make a selection with the No. 4 pick. Maybe I’m wrong?
