NBA Draft: 5 underrated prospects that could emerge as steals
Potential NBA Draft steals: Kessler Edwards
Kessler Edwards could join an NBA team and have an immediate impact with his defensive prowess and also with his ability to catch and shoot. He serves as an effective spot up shooter from behind the arc as he made 39.5 percent of his three point attempts during his three seasons at Pepperdine.
Edwards has a lot of potential and upside as a 3-and-D wing prospect and should be able to defend any position at the NBA level. There are concerns about him coming from a lower level college program but with a few years of development and experience, Edwards can become a dependable rotational player.
He does have some mechanical issues with his shot and footwork but nothing too serious that can’t be fixed. Edwards is very active on the defensive end and could end up becoming an elite level defender if he puts in the necessary work.
