11. Charlotte Hornets – Kai Jones, F, Texas

The Charlotte Hornets are heading into the offseason with major momentum. LaMelo Ball appears to be the real deal and their new face of the franchise. He appears to be a budding superstar and is a good starting point for a rebuild. The Hornets now need to build around him.

With the No. 11 overall pick in the draft, the Hornets will have a good shot at adding a great second or third piece to the puzzle. One potential fit for the team at this point in the draft is Kai Jones, a versatile forward out of Texas.

Jones left a bit to be desired during his stint at Texas, but the hope is that he will continue to blossom as a player and that his best basketball years are still very much ahead of him. Jones would be a great fit next to Ball and could really help this team blossom in a year or two.
