8. Orlando Magic – Corey Kispert, F, Gonzaga

This might seem like somewhat of a strange selection, but Corey Kispert is a prospect that could help a team such as the Magic right away. Kispert may not be a player that many expect to make the jump to superstar status but is one that could be a contributor as soon as he hits the training camp floor.

Kispert might be the best shooter in this draft class and proved over the course of his senior season at Gonzaga that he can be much more than just a spot-up scorer. If the Magic are hoping to make the leap to the playoffs at some point over the next few seasons with their reworked core, they’re going to need role contributors such as Kispert.

I wouldn’t pass the Magic to try and trade down if this is in fact the target for the team. They could add an asset or two, trade down a few spots, and still land Kispert.
