9. Sacramento Kings – Franz Wagner, F, Michigan

With the expectation that the Sacramento Kings are going to trade Marvin Bagley over the course of the offseason, there’s going to be a need in the frontcourt for the team heading into the 2021 NBA Draft. One potential target that could arise for the Kings at No. 9 is Franz Wagner.

Wagner may not be the sure-fire selection that many would hope for in the top 10 but he is an intriguing prospect that could blossom into one of the better two-way players to emerge from this year’s draft class.

The concern for Wagner is that he wasn’t exceptionally excellent at any trait in college. He was a really good player and the hope is that will translate to the NBA. I’m not sure if Wagner is the sexiest pick for the Kings, but he could be a really good player.
