Norman Powell might be the best player that no one really knows about in the NBA. He started his career with the Toronto Raptors before he was recently traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. And he couldn’t be hitting the open market at a hotter time.

Powell put together the best statistical season of his career thus far this past year before being traded to Portland. Powell averaged 20 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range before he was traded to Portland.

He should be in line for a big payday this summer and he will be worth every penny. In the right situation, there’s no question that Powell could be a very important piece to a contender’s puzzle.
