5. DeMar DeRozan

I firmly believe that the New York Knicks are going to want to hit a home run during the offseason and that likely hinges on their ability to sign one of the top free agents. DeMar DeRozan would categorize as that as he would give this franchise another go-to scorer on the offensive end.

That’s something that was missing on the Knicks’ roster during the playoffs as they were constantly forced to rely on Derrick Rose time and time again against the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the postseason.

DeRozan would be a good fit on this roster and would help take some of the scoring load off Julius Randle and RJ Barrett. I’m not sure how much this move would change the team’s ceiling but it certainly would improve the roster.

Prediction: New York Knicks
