Exploring 5 reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers will be back in the NBA Finals in 2022. 

The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to regain their dominance in 2021-22. It was somewhat surprising to see how their title defense ended last season but with an ailing LeBron James and limping Anthony Davis, we probably shouldn’t have expected anything different.

Nevertheless, after an offseason in which the Lakers made some significant upgrades to the roster, the hope is that this team will be better this season. Led by their acquisition of Russell Westbrook, the hope is that the Lakers will be able to make a return to the NBA Finals. At the very least, the thought is that LA will be expected to make a deep run in the postseason.

And after watching how the offseason transpired as a whole, there isn’t much that is standing in the way of the Lakers getting back to the NBA Finals. In fact, let’s take a closer look at five reasons why I believe the Lakers will make a return to prominence in 2022.
