This might be LeBron’s last hurrah as a true No. 1

The fact that this could end up being LeBron’s last hurrah should be taken into account. LeBron will be 37 years old by the time the playoffs come around next season and this could be his last real chance at winning another championship.

You can bet that he knows that and will do everything he can to keep himself fresh and healthy for the games that matter most. Injuries are generally freak accidents and oftentimes can’t be avoided, but LeBron is one of the most cerebral players in the league and will be all hands on deck heading into this season.

The Lakers will be a better team this season. The hope is that LeBron still has at least one elite season left in him if not more.
