Exploring 5 teams that improved the most during NBA free agency. 

Now that the bulk of free agency is in the books – with the exception of Dennis Schroder who is considered the last big-name still on the open market – we have a new structured NBA. There are teams in both conferences that have either taken a big step forward or back.

While that’s often the case every season, there are some big-name teams that took some big swings this offseason.  There were some big names on the open market and a few of them decided to switch jerseys, and it absolutely helped change the landscape of the league (to a certain extent).

Heading into the 2021-22 season, we take a look at five teams that took the biggest step forward during free agency. Or, to put it simply, the five teams that improved the most over the course of the offseason.
