Key additions: Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard, Kendrick Nunn, Carmelo Anthony, Malik Monk

For the first few days of free agency, the Los Angeles Lakers were relatively quiet. However, they bounced back in a big way as it has progressed. They made their first big splash by adding Russell Westbrook before the draft and they added some quality players to their depth.

It’ll be interesting to see how all these players end up fitting together but there are no questions that this team will have some upgraded star power. Westbrook might not be the best fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but he will certainly help the team during the regular season and help take some of the pressure off in the postseason.

The Lakers are a better team from top to bottom and will have a good chance of making it back to the NBA Finals next season.
