Why the Golden State Warriors will be contenders in 2022: The core 3 will be healthy once again

For the first time in two seasons, the Warriors’ core 3 is expected to be healthy. I can’t remember the last time the trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green was all healthy at the same time and that should get Warriors fans excited.

When they are healthy, they are arguably one of the best teams in history. Even though this trio is a few years older since the last time they were wrecking the league together, you’d have to believe that they still very well have some left in the tank.

Curry still looked like an NBA MVP last season and while Green has taken somewhat of a step back, he could still be extremely productive and effective in his defined role. Golden State’s chances really just come down to Thompson. If he’s healthy and back playing at a high level, the Warriors will find themselves amongst contenders in the West.
