NBA teams that should target Marvin Bagley: Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are somewhat of a natural fit for Bagley. Especially considering the Mavs swung and missed (once again) in free agency. If they want to save face and add some talent to the roster before the start of the season, Bagley would be a smart gamble.

Bagley is still young enough where he could grow alongside Luka Doncic (if he can get his career back on track) and it wouldn’t likely cost the Mavs much. Bagley, at this point in his career, would be considered a low-risk, high-reward gamble. That’s something the Mavs should be all over.

Plus, at least from Bagley’s standpoint, the Mavs would be a great spot too. Doncic has the ability to raise the level of the players that he’s with and perhaps his career would benefit from playing next to such a great player.
