9. Miami Heat

The Miami Heat is the other team that kind of stole the offseason. They added Kyle Lowry via a sign-and-trade with the Toronto Raptors and then brought in veteran thought guys PJ Tucker and Markieff Morris to round out their roster.

Miami also did a great job by re-signing their key free agents which included giving Duncan Robinson a fair long-term deal and somewhat of a prove-it deal to Victor Oladipo. I’m not sure how high the Heat’s ceiling is but there’s no question that they’re going to be tough to play on any given night. Also, a nightmare to match up with in the postseason.

If Bam Adebayo is able to take another jump in his progression, the Heat is going to be one of the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference.
