4. Phoenix Suns

Coming off a season in which the Phoenix Suns made a magical run to the NBA Finals, there will be much expected from this team that decided to run it back after re-signing Chris Paul to a huge, $100 million-plus deal in free agency.

Devin Booker will undoubtedly continue to improve as an individual player and the same goes for Deandre Ayton. The big question for this team is whether or not they’ll be able to replicate the success that they had last year. It won’t be easy, especially not in an improved top of the West.

Nevertheless, I believe that the Suns have all the pieces in place to do so. It might ultimately come down to Paul and how he looks as he continues to age. If he begins to fall off as a player, this could end up being a rough year for Phoenix.
