1. Milwaukee Bucks

Coming off winning an NBA Championship, it would be unfair not to place them at the top spot in our initial NBA Power Rankings. Even though they lost PJ Tucker to the Heat, the Bucks are still going to be one of the favorites to win it all this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is only going to be a better player with the confidence that he has gained, and the same can be said about Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton in their respective roles. Winning back-to-back championships is one of the hardest things to do in professional sports but the Bucks are set up to do so.

There will be challengers to Milwaukee in the Eastern Conference but I wouldn’t bet against this team. They are as talented as any other team in the league and have already proven they can get it done when it matters most.
