The NBA’s “living in denial” teams

24. Toronto Raptors – The Toronto Raptors are kind of stuck in the middle right now and it’s not a great place to be. They’re going to be good enough where they won’t finish with a top 5 pick in next year’s NBA Draft but also not good enough to qualify for the playoffs.

No man’s land.

23. Minnesota Timberwolves  – The Minnesota Timberwolves have one of the most talented rosters in the league but have, at nearly every turn, been disappointing. Something needs to click for this team soon if they’re going to be any factor in the Western Conference this season. There’s no guarantee that happens, however.

22. Sacramento Kings – The Sacramento Kings are another one of those teams that have kind of hung around the middle for a long time. They have some really good players on their roster but haven’t been able to put it all together.

Will this finally be that year?
