NBA: Way-too-early playoff predictions for the 2021-22 season

2. Milwaukee Bucks

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Milwaukee Bucks end up having a better regular season than they did last year and I have them finishing as the second seed in the East. Considering how well I believe the Nets will do, you can pencil in the Bucs for 50-plus wins.

This team is going to have a championship glow and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be gunning for another NBA MVP award. It’s amazing how much confidence a team gains when they simply win a championship and I believe that will be the case for the Bucks.

Milwaukee will head into the postseason as one of the favorites to emerge from the East, but if they want to get back to the NBA Finals they’re going to have to knock off arguably the most talented team in the NBA – again.
