5 free agents that will make the biggest impact on their new teams heading into the 2021-22 NBA season.

The 2021-22 promises to be full of intrigue as a few of the NBA’s biggest names swapped jerseys this offseason. A few of the top contenders took another step forward in an attempt to take down the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks this upcoming season.

But which free agents that made their way to new teams will have the biggest impact? We explore our top 5, beginning with an unlikely addition for the Los Angeles Lakers.

5. Kendrick Nunn, Los Angeles Lakers

It may seem a little strange to see Kendrick Nunn on this list, but I just believe that the impact that he’s going to have on the Los Angeles Lakers this season is being overlooked and discounted. Even though Nunn has his limitations as a player if there’s one strength that he does carry it’s as an ISO scoring threat.

Nunn may not be much of a factor on the defensive end, but what he leaves to be desired on that end of the floor he more than makes up for it on the offensive end of the floor. Nunn is a good scorer and can get a basketball without any creativity around him.

Nunn can grab a basket on command and that’s something that the Lakers simply didn’t have off the bench a season ago. He’ll be able to give LA’s bench some credibility and you’d have to believe that it’s something LeBron James and the Lakers will gladly appreciate.
