Cam Reddish, Atlanta Hawks

You might be saying, “another Duke guy?” Yes, absolutely. I guess I’m going to be a big Duke fan this season. Nevertheless, Cam Reddish is another player to keep an eye on heading into this season. He’s coming off back-to-back strong seasons for the Hawks and if he gets a bigger role this season, I have no doubt that he’s going to take a big jump.

That’s really the only question I have about his game. During the playoffs specifically, in the four games that he was healthy for, Reddish averaged 13 points on 53 percent shooting from the field and 64 percent shooting from 3-point range. And that was in only 23 minutes per game.

If Reddish can get a bit of an expanded role for the Hawks this season, he has the chance to be a real game-changer for Atlanta. Perhaps he can be an x-factor for the team this year.

If Reddish gets enough minutes on the Hawks this season or if he’s traded to another team with a better – or more – of an opportunity, Reddish could be in for a breakout campaign.
