NBA MVP odds: Chris Paul +10000

I just had to mention this last one because it’s ridiculous. Chirs Paul has lower odds to win the MVP than Zach LaVine, Domantas Sabonis, Bradley Beal, Ja Morant, Jimmy Butler, and Russell Westbrook. Are you kidding me?

That alone should have you putting a flyer on CP3. I mean the guy was in the MVP conversation all of last season based on his massive impact on a young Suns team that went from missing the playoffs, to being the second seed and making the NBA Finals. The thing with Paul is that he’s not getting any younger.

If the Suns want to get back to where they were last season, they’ll need CP3 to be just as good as he was last season, which is a tough ask for a 6-foot, 36-year-old point guard. Plus, the Suns have a bunch of young players that may take a leap next year in Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, and Mikal Bridges.

Chris Paul’s a long shot to win the MVP, but he’s at least a better bet than Domantas Sabonis or Zach LaVine.
