NBA MVP odds: LeBron James +1100

Still, in 2021, a discussion over the NBA MVP can’t be made without mentioning the king himself, LeBron James. Entering year 19, LeBron has defied father time and hasn’t missed a beat with his play on the court.

After an injury-riddled 2020-21 season, LeBron and the Lakers are ready to make a deep run in the postseason. A revamped roster including offseason acquisitions of Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Kendrick Nunn, Malik Monk, Wayne Ellington, Trevor Ariza, and Kent Bazemore, make the Lakers the favorites in the West.

If the Lakers can stay healthy, and live up to everyone’s expectations, someone from the purple and gold will be in the conversation, and it’ll probably be the guy that’s been in the convo since what seems like forever. At +1100, LeBron is a solid bet to win the 2021-22 MVP. Plus, if you’re not quite sold on LeBron, being that he’s a year away from playing 20 years in the NBA, then place a bet on Anthony Davis at +2250.

After an injury-riddled 2020-21 season, AD has to be motivated to prove himself as one of the game greats. LeBron may concede more to AD and try to get his guy the MVP. Especially, considering Russ is on the Lakers, who will surely get dimes to AD in what will surely be a lethal pick-and-roll combo.
