7. Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis Grizzlies

It was interesting when Jaren Jackson Jr.’s name popped up in the rumor mill this past season, especially considering he has essentially missed all the 2020-21 NBA season due to injury. While I’d still be extremely surprised if he is traded by the Memphis Grizzlies, it’s at least a possibility if the team isn’t sold on him.

As an ideal modern big, there should be plenty of teams lining up to bid on his services should become available. Memphis is trying to build something sustainable and if they don’t believe that Jackson is the answer as a No. 2 next to Ja Morant, it wouldn’t be surprising for them to test his market on the trade block.

He gets a spot on this list, but it would still be extremely shocking if he was actually traded this season.
