6. Pascal Siakam/Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors

Heading into the 2021-22 NBA season, there may not be a more intriguing team in the Eastern Conference than the Toronto Raptors – but it may be for all the wrong reasons. The Raptors have some exciting young talent on the roster but don’t have a No. 1 star to lead the way.

Losing Kyle Lowry will certainly hurt the team’s chances to make the playoffs next season and short of Pascal Siakam or Fred VanVleet making a bit step in the leadership department, the Raptors are likely headed for the lottery once again.

If that indeed ends up being the case, there’s a chance that the Raptors end up trading some of their veteran pieces as they continue to build around their young talent. If Siakam or VanVleet hits the open market, the bidding war should be interesting.
