Potential landing spots for Ben Simmons: Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are an interesting potential landing spot for Simmons. There are plenty of reasons why it makes sense. For one, the Warriors are a team that is looking for a veteran star upgrade to make a true run for another title. Even though Simmons is viewed as a “veteran star,” he’d fit the bill.

Second, the Warriors have the assets that the Sixers would likely be looking in return for Simmons. The big question is whether or not the Warriors would want to give all that Philadelphia would be interested in.

I suppose the big question for the Warriors revolves around fit. Would Draymond Green and Simmons be somewhat of a skill set duplication? Would they be willing to send all their young players? Would the Sixers even want James Wiseman?

There are a lot of potential hurdles, but the Warriors should absolutely be a contender to land Simmons.
