Potential landing spots for Ben Simmons: Portland Trail Blazers

If there’s one team that desperately needs to make a deal for Simmons, it’s the Portland Trail Blazers. Damian Lillard has already placed some pressure on the front office to upgrade the roster and there’s a natural trade target on their active roster – C.J. McCollum.

But there are a few hurdles for a deal to take place. For one, the Blazers haven’t exactly said anything about moving McCollum There’s no guarantee that they’d even be willing to put him on the table. Secondly, McCollum alone might not appease the Sixers.

That said, there’s no question that acquiring Simmons might be something that could help rejuvenate the franchise and feed some excitement back into the fan base. Plus, I’m sure Lillard would very much appreciate the team acquiring another all-star.
