Sixers Rumors: Buying or selling possible land spots for Ben Simmons

Prediction for where Ben Simmons will be traded: Minnesota Timberwolves

Ultimately, I believe the Simmons sweepstakes will come down to whichever team wants him the most. I believe that team is the Minnesota Timberwolves. I feel as if this franchise is willing to do whatever it needs to get some added intrigue to the team. Acquiring Simmons would be exactly that.

For this to legitimately happen, the Wolves and the Sixers would need to find a third team with a veteran piece that would appease the Sixers – unless they are willing to take on Russell and a boatload of draft picks.

I think a duo that includes Simmons and Towns could grow to be one of the most interesting in the league and that would bring some intrigue back into this franchise. I don’t know exactly how it would all work out but it would certainly throw a wrench in the Western Conference playoff race this season.
