NBA Miami Heat defend Jrue Holiday (Michael McLoone-USA TODAY Sports)

No. 6: Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks

2020-21 Stats: 17.7p/4.5r/6.1a/1.6s

Jrueski. The Jruth (this is actually on his bball ref, isn’t that hilarious). Jrue Holiday displayed some of the best guard defense we have seen in the NBA Finals in a long time. He followed that championship win by being easily the best defensive player on Team USA en route to a gold medal.

It was that kind of year for Holiday, who’s finally shed his underrated label and has settled into where he belongs, a top-six point guard.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ guard rotation has actually gotten significantly better, with the additions of George Hill and Grayson Allen. Expect continued excellent things from Holiday (my pick for DPOY, FWIW).
