Fresh off winning an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, it’s no surprise to see Khris Middleton on this list. Quite frankly, this is where the second or third tier of small forwards begin. He’s not at the same level as the top 5 but still one of the best players in the league.

Middleton has been an ideal No. 2 next to Giannis Antetokounmpo and played a big role during the team’s championship run. He’s a consistent offensive threat and a great defensive stalwart. He plays a great Scottie Pippen and that’s exactly what the Bucks have needed.

Middleton will likely never get the recognition that he deserves, but there’s no question that he is one of the top 6 or 7 (depending on where you disagree) small forwards in the NBA heading into the 2021-22 season.
