The Houston Rockets and John Wall have agreed they would find him a new place to play next season. Here are some possible destinations for the five-time All-Star.

The Houston Rockets and John Wall met on Tuesday afternoon and agreed that it would be best for the five-time All-Star plays somewhere else next season. According to Shams Charania (subscription required) of The Athletic, Wall will attend the Rockets training camp as they look to find a trade partner.

Apparently, there is no buyout plan for Wall who still has two years on his deal worth 91.7 million dollars. There is a player option on Wall’s deal for the 2022-23 season worth 47.4 million dollars.

Possible destinations for John Wall

Since there is no buyout plan in sight a Wall trade will be very difficult. Wall is due to make $44 million this season and moving that cap number will be no small feat. The only team left with significant cap space is the Oklahoma City Thunder, our first possible destination for Wall.
