Trade destinations for John Wall: New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans saw themselves get burned in their quest for a point guard as they missed out on the Kyle Lowery sweepstakes and ended up trading for Devonte Graham. In fact, they’ve had quite the peculiar offseason thus far.

David Griffin could look to add another point guard to his roster even though it would bring some difficulty. The Pelicans are already capped out and don’t have too many big contracts that they would like to move. A trade would most likely require a third or even a fourth team.

Though, especially after an offseason where the team’s moves left much to be desired, adding Wall wouldn’t be the worst of circumstances if the team comes to the conclusion that they’re willing to eat that big contract over the next couple of seasons.
