7. Kendrick Nunn

Kendrick Nunn could emerge as a truly important player for the Lakers this season. He’s likely going to be the backup point guard behind Russell Westbrook and could end up being the sixth or seventh player, depending on a few other factors.

Either way, we know the caliber of player that Nunn can be. He nearly won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award in Miami and played a vital role for the team off the bench last season. Nunn is a talented offensive player and is a capable defender.

If the Lakers can get quality minutes from Nunn off the bench, it will make this team that much more dangerous in the Western Conference. Depth is what this Lakers team missed last year and that’s where Nunn is going to help the most.
