2. LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis

Checking in at No. 2 is the new-look Los Angeles Lakers. There might not be a better duo than LeBron James and Anthony Davis (in terms of fit, talent) and adding Russell Westbrook is enough to make this team a top 2 big 3 in the NBA heading into this season.

Assuming they’ll be able to click as a trio, it’s hard not to see the Lakers being the favorites to come out of the Western Conference this season. Russ may not be at the height of his powers anymore, but he’s still one of the five or six best point guards in the league.

AD is arguably a top 3 player when he’s healthy and LeBron is still LeBron. Old man LeBron is still better than 99 percent of the league. Perhaps the only two players unanimously better than him at this point are Giannis and Kevin Durant.
