NBA: Power ranking the 10 best big 3’s heading into the 2021-22 season
1. James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving
Pound for pound, there might not be another big 3 in NBA history that has more firepower and capability as the Brooklyn Nets’. Even before James Harden was acquired, many viewed the Nets as an overwhelming threat in the Eastern Conference. With this big 3, it would be extremely surprising if they weren’t in the NBA Finals this season.
Of course, they’ll need to be healthy. That’s really the only thing that held this team back last season. If Kyrie and Harden don’t get injured in the playoffs, the Nets are likely entering the season as the defending champions at the moment.
Harden, Durant, and Kyrie create the NBA’s best offensive threat that comes in a big 3 package and there’s really not another big 3 that is relatively close to how dangerous they can be when they’re healthy and all bought in.
