8. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart

It seems as if the Boston Celtics have been close for nearly a decade. However, Despite the recent shortcomings, the Celtics have one of the most talented trios in all the Eastern Conference. Led by Jayson Tatum, who still hasn’t reached the ceiling of his game, and Jaylen Brown, Boston is going to be an issue for anything that faces off against them in the Eastern Conference this season.

As a third, I had to throw in Marcus Smart. Even though he’s somewhat of a niche player (depending on who you ask), he’s still awfully good and knows what he’s good at.

It’s rare when Smart plays outside of his game and when he’s locked into his game and he’s healthy, there might not be a better and most versatile defender at the guard position.
