7. Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker

Led by Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and DeAndre Ayton, the Phoenix Suns are coming off of a season in which they probably thought that they left an NBA championship fall through their fingers. They were two wins away from hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy but ultimately the Milwaukee Bucks were the better team.

And that’s OK. Let’s not take away anything from them. That said, if the Suns are going to replicate some of that same success this season they’re going to need big performances from the big 3.

The big concern that I have with no Phoenix’s big 3 is the fact that Paul could fall off the cliff at any moment and I’m not sure how much I buy into Ayton as a long-term star in this league.

Devin Booker is absolutely the real deal and it’s only going to get better. His presence in this trio is really the only thing that has me from keeping them lower on this list.
