NBA blockbuster trade ideas: Buddy Hield to the Dallas Mavericks

At the moment, Luka Doncic is one of the most entertaining players in the league to watch. He seems to come through in nearly every big moment and the only thing that is holding Luka back is the Dallas Mavericks’ supporting cast. Or the lack of one.

The addition of Kristaps Porzingis hasn’t paid off as many hoped it would and it’s time for the Mavs to find some help around Luka. While Tim Hardaway Jr. has been admirable in his role, he’s not a No. 2 that you want in today’s game.

I’m not sure if Buddy Hield is the end-all-be-all for the Mavs as a second “star” next to Luka, but he’d certainly help and he’s still one of the best shooters in the league. His game should gel well next to Luka.
