NBA blockbuster trade ideas: Collin Sexton to the New Orleans Pelicans

Early in the offseason, before the NBA Draft and Free Agency, the chatter around a potential trade of Collin Sexton was loud. Since then, though, it’s been relatively quiet on the Sexton trade front. However, I’m not sure much has changed between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Sexton.

Perhaps the Cavs would rather play this season out to see if they really want to pay Sexton or not, or maybe they’ll wait until the trade deadline before they make a move that could be viewed as rash by some.

Either way, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if the Cavs traded Sexton. And if they did, one team that should be interested is the New Orleans Pelicans. Especially after coming out somewhat empty-handed during the offseason.

A trio of Sexton, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram would be quite intriguing.
