Three big storylines to follow regarding the Phoenix Suns heading into the 2021-22 NBA season. 

The Phoenix Suns fell two wins short of winning their first NBA championship in franchise history last season. And as the 2021-22 season quickly approaches, the expectations aren’t getting any tempered. The Suns will be expected to finish as a top 3 seed in the Western Conference and make a deep run in the playoffs.

However, as the rest of the West improved during the offseason, that’s no longer a foregone conclusion. The Suns won’t be taking teams by surprise this season and will have a target on their back every single night.
