If there’s one thing that’s become clear over the last few days, it’s that there’s a very good chance that the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons are not in a good place. Barring something unforeseen, it will likely result in a divorce between the two sides.

The hope from Simmons is that it happens sooner rather than later. However, there’s no guarantee that will be the case. Especially when the Sixers are essentially calling his bluff by refusing to pay him partial of his salary that he was due recently.
